Research Triangle Park, NC - The Freelon Group, an award-winning Architecture Interiors and Planning firm with offices in Research Triangle Park and Charlotte, is pleased to announce these significant achievements of the following employees:
Todd Case, Project Architect - Case recently passed his LEED accreditation exam and is now a LEED 2.0 Accredited Professional. The LEED accreditation program recognizes expertise in green building and the LEED certification process to help meet the growing demand from the public and private sectors for green buildings.
Case's current projects for the Freelon Group include the Science Building at Fayetteville State University, the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco, California, and Regional Rail Stations for the Triangle Transit Authority here in the Triangle. For the Regional Rail Stations, Case serves as a Project Architect for five different stations.
Kevin Turner, AIA - The Freelon Group is pleased to introduce Kevin Turner as Senior Project Architect. Turner's primary project for Freelon is the Central Regional Psychiatric Hospital, a $100 million design for a state-of-the-art, 460,000 square-foot, psychiatric hospital in Butner, NC.
Prior to joining Freelon, Turner's projects included the Hyatt Regency Orlando Convention Center in Orlando, FL; the Montgomery County Conference Center in Maryland; and the Food and Drug Administration Headquarters in White Oak, MD. Turner is a Registered Architect with NCARB Certification and is also a CSI Certified Construction Administrator and holds his CSI Certificate of Construction Document Technology.
