The Freelon Group Architects was awarded the AIA Triangle (American Institute of Architects Triangle Chapter) Honor Award for the Lake Johnson Water Activities Center in Raleigh, NC.

The AIA Triangle Awards program recognizes excellence in architectural design. Architectural firms from throughout the Triangle region submit their work to this awards program.

Lake Johnson Park, 4601 Avent Ferry Road, includes a 150+ acre lake and 300+ acres of land surrounding the lake.
