FREELON RECEIVES 2006 AIA Triangle Merit Award

The Freelon Group Architects was awarded an AIA Triangle (American Institute of Architects Triangle Chapter) Merit Award in the Unbuilt Category for the Virginia Key Beach Park Museum Commissioned Competition Entry. The awards reception was held on April 19th at the American Tobacco Historic District Bay 7 in Durham, NC.

The AIA Triangle Awards program recognizes excellence in architectural design. Architectural firms from throughout the Triangle region submit their work to this awards program. This year, 84 projects were submitted.

Virginia Key Beach Park is located on Virginia Key between downtown Miami and Key Biscayne, Florida.
