Freelon Receives Two SMPS National Marketing Communications Awards

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- The Freelon Group Architects has received two Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) National Marketing Communications Awards. These awards recognize the outstanding marketing activities of architectural, engineering, design and construction firms. The awards were presented at the organization's national conference on August 17, 2006 in Los Angeles.
The Freelon Group was recognized in the Target Marketing category for the design of the Freelon Museum Grand Opening Tickets. The piece highlighted three new museums designed by Freelon and introduced its services to museum professionals at the American Association of Museums Conference. The firm was also recognized for its National PR and Firm Visibility Campaign, this award was shared with their national media consultant, Reilly Communications of Boston.
SMPS has a membership of more than 5,300 marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada.
