The new complex will include classroom and laboratory spaces for the College of Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technology. Several science and technology academic departments will be housed in the complex: Mathematics, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering and Industrial Technology & Industrial Technology Education.
This state of the art facility will be located directly on axis with the University’s pedestrian brick yard. The facility will also be at minimum LEED Silver Certified. The efficiency of the floor plan allows for maximum usable building area. Aesthetically, the facility’s objective is to weave into the context of the University, while being expressive of the technology housed within.
