With the adoption of their new Strategic Plan, Elizabeth City State University laid the groundwork that would guide the institution into the twenty-first century. The Master Plan for Elizabeth City State University is intended to build upon and support the mission of the University as outlined by the Strategic Plan by leveraging the physical assets of the university campus. The Master Plan study of the 830-acre campus includes the analysis and assessment of the existing facilities and infrastructure, as well as the introduction of a framework to understand how the physical and academic environment will adapt and respond to the anticipated change and growth. Ultimately, the Master Plan provides a vision of what the Elizabeth City State University campus may aspire to in the future.
