GTCC - Hassell Health Technologies Building

The Hassell Health Technologies Center is a three-story, 73,700 Sq. Ft. classroom and faculty office building at Guilford Technical Community College. The building is a significant addition to this small, but established college campus, replacing older, outmoded buildings that were removed prior to construction. The building provides teaching and support spaces for Nursing - PN/AND, Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, Physical Therapy Assistant, Health Services Administration and Biology and Biotechnology Lab Programs.
This state-of-the-art health sciences building is organized as a double loaded corridor on three levels with faculty offices to one side and with labs and classrooms to the other. Biology labs are on the upper level to allow zoning for exhaust purposes. Nursing and surgical technology areas are on the second level with physical therapy, medical assisting, and health services administration on the ground level.
